Services

Bookkeeping that keeps your finances clear

Accurate books. Organized records. Clear reporting.

Monthly Bookkeeping

Your transactions are recorded and categorized every month, so the numbers you look at reflect what actually happened.

Reconciliations

Bank and credit card accounts are matched to your statements, so the balances in your books are the balances in the real world.

Month-End Close

A structured review is completed before your reports are finalized. Nothing is released until it holds up.

Financial Reporting

You receive a Profit & Loss and a Balance Sheet every month, with additional reports depending on your plan.

Behind or need a cleanup first?

Catch-Up & Cleanup

Prior months brought up to date, and agreed issues reviewed and corrected, before ongoing monthly service begins. Being behind is a normal starting point, not a problem to apologize for.

The result: clean books, clear numbers, less stress.

CATCH-UP & CLEANUP

Scoped and quoted per engagement, based on how many months are behind, transaction volume, and the number of accounts involved.

What determines your quote

Every set of books is different, so pricing follows the work rather than a list price. What moves it: the number of accounts and cards, monthly transaction volume, employees and payroll, loans, the payment platforms you use, and any additional services you need.

The consultation is where that gets sized. You'll have a clear proposal before anything begins — no surprises, and no charge for the conversation.

What's never extra: your monthly reports and email support are part of every plan.

Additional services

Additional support when your business needs it

Any of these can be added to a qualifying plan, quoted on the scope, volume, and complexity of the work involved.

  • Catch-Up Bookkeeping

Prior months are brought up to date so you can move forward with current, organized records.

  • Cleanup Bookkeeping

Agreed bookkeeping issues are reviewed and corrected before ongoing monthly service begins.

  • Accounts Receivable Support

Support for customer invoices, recording payments, and maintaining your receivable records.

  • Accounts Payable Support

Support for vendor bills, payment tracking, and maintaining your payable records.

  • Payroll Reconciliation

Your payroll provider's reports and the related bookkeeping accounts are reconciled, so payroll activity is reflected accurately in your books.

  • Receipt & Document Management

Your supporting financial documents are kept organized and connected to the bookkeeping process.

Process

A simple path to clearer books

A structured process, from the first conversation to monthly bookkeeping.

  1. 01

    Initial conversation

A free 15–25 minute call. TriCore learns about your business, how your bookkeeping is handled today, and what support you actually need. No preparation required, and nothing to send in advance.

  2. 02

    Your books are reviewed

Where applicable, your existing bookkeeping is reviewed so any catch-up or cleanup needs are identified before a number is quoted — not discovered afterward.

  3. 03

    A proposal is provided

A clear proposal setting out the recommended service, the scope it covers, and the monthly investment.

  4. 04

    Onboarding & organization

The bookkeeping process is set up, access is arranged, and any agreed setup or cleanup work is completed.

  5. 05

    Monthly bookkeeping begins

Your books are kept organized, reconciled, and up to date through TriCore's monthly process.

Your first 30 days

Onboarding and any agreed cleanup happen first, so the first full month of bookkeeping starts from records that are actually in order. You'll know what's needed from you, and when — the requests are consolidated rather than arriving one at a time.

What to expect month to month

Questions are gathered and sent together rather than piecemeal. Your reports arrive after the month-end close is complete, not before. If something needs your attention, it's flagged in the delivery rather than buried in a report.

Hi, I'm Carolina da Fonte

I spent more than fifteen years inside finance teams before starting TriCore — most of it in Canadian federal government organizations, where the reporting had to be right and someone was always going to check.

I worked with Health Canada, the Canadian Space Agency, and Employment and Social Development Canada, supporting approximately CAD $5 million in departmental budgets and partnering with 3 Directors General, 4 National Directors, and 23 Managers on budget cycles, month-end close, and executive reporting. Earlier, in private industry, I worked at Videotron.

What I learned there is the reason TriCore has a written close process: when reporting is reviewed by people who depend on it, you stop relying on memory and start relying on procedure. Small businesses deserve the same discipline. They rarely get it.

I started TriCore because small business owners are making real decisions — hiring, pricing, whether they can afford the next truck — on numbers they aren't sure they can trust. That's a solvable problem, and it's the one I like solving.

I work with business owners in English, Portuguese, and French — not just for the first conversation, but throughout: your reports, your questions, and your monthly communication in the language you actually think in.

I'm based in Winter Garden and work with businesses across the Orlando metro, and remotely with clients elsewhere in the US.

Trust & security

Your financial information, handled properly

TriCore never asks for banking, payroll, or accounting passwords.

Not by email, not by text, not by phone. Where access is needed, it's arranged the way it should be — through an accountant or advisor invitation, or a separate user login you control and can revoke at any time.

  • Your documents stay in one place.

Financial records are exchanged through a secure channel agreed at onboarding, not scattered across email threads.

  • Encrypted in transit and at rest.

Access is limited to what the work requires, protected by multi-factor authentication, and backed up.

  • Confidential by default.

What TriCore sees stays between us. Work performed for accounting and CPA firms is treated as confidential unless released in writing.

Common questions

What does a bookkeeper actually do?

A bookkeeper records and categorizes your transactions, reconciles your accounts against your statements, and produces your financial reports each month. The result is a Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet you can rely on, and records that are ready when your tax professional needs them.

Do you prepare tax returns?

No. TriCore does not offer tax return preparation, and does not provide tax, legal, or investment advice. What TriCore does is keep your books accurate and organized throughout the year, and deliver year-end reports so you can work with your tax preparer efficiently when the time comes.

My books are a year behind. Is that too far gone?

No, and it's more common than you'd think. Catch-up bookkeeping brings prior months up to date, and cleanup corrects agreed issues, before monthly service begins. It's scoped after a review, so you know what's involved before you commit. Being behind is a starting point, not a disqualification.

Do I need QuickBooks Online to work with TriCore?

Not necessarily. QuickBooks Online is the platform TriCore works in day to day — Carolina is a QuickBooks Online Certified ProAdvisor — so it's the smoothest path. If you're on something else, or on nothing at all, that's covered in the first conversation, and moving to QuickBooks Online is often part of the setup rather than a prerequisite.

What access do you need from me?

Read-and-work access to your accounting file, and your statements. TriCore never asks for banking, payroll, or accounting passwords — access is arranged through an accountant or advisor invitation, or a separate login you control and can revoke. The specifics are agreed during onboarding.

How is pricing determined?

Pricing follows the work rather than a list price. The main factors are the number of accounts and cards, monthly transaction volume, employees and payroll, loans, the payment platforms you use, and any additional services. You get a clear proposal after the consultation, and the consultation itself is free.

Which languages do you work in?

English, Portuguese, and French. All three are working languages for the whole engagement — not just the first call, but your reports, your questions, and your monthly communication. Carolina is a native Portuguese speaker, fluent in French, with professional working proficiency in English.

Where are you located, and do you work remotely?

TriCore is based in Winter Garden, Florida, and works with businesses across the Orlando metro — Ocoee, Windermere, Clermont, Horizon West — as well as remotely with clients elsewhere in the United States. Bookkeeping is handled the same way either way.

How do we get started?

Book a free 15–25 minute consultation. TriCore learns about your business and current bookkeeping, reviews your books where applicable, and provides a proposal covering scope and monthly investment. If it's a fit, onboarding follows and monthly bookkeeping begins.
